Cast your vote for LODI as best wine region now through Monday, August 20th, 2018 at 8:59pm PST – and be sure to vote once every day for the run of the contest by clicking HERE.

So why does LODI deserve to win?

The Lodi Appellation is quickly becoming one of California’s most dynamic and exciting winegrowing regions. Innovation and experimentation are flourishing as young winemakers descend upon this historic region to discover over 100 grape varieties in commercial production. And nowhere else in California do you find as much old, own-rooted, head trained vines as you do in Lodi. These vineyards have a story, a family history, and a distinctiveness that sets them apart.  They are a living history of the region dating back to the 1800’s, and telling a story of Lodi, farming, and winemaking.  This effort is leading to an incredible diversity and quality of wines that is attracting consumer and critical attention from across the globe.

Other outstanding nominees include our friends in Augusta (MO), El Dorado (CA), Finger Lakes (NY), Grand Valley (CO), Leelanau Peninsula (MI), Livermore Valley (CA), Mendocino (CA), Monticello (VA), Napa Valley (CA), North Fork of Long Island (NY), Paso Robles (CA), Santa Barbara Co. (CA), Santa Lucia Highlands (CA), Snake River Valley (ID), Sonoma Co. (CA), Texas Hill Country (TX), Walla Walla Valley (WA), Willamette Valley (OR), and Yadkin Valley (NC).
