| Protected Harvest
to be featured at Eco-label Conference Protected
Harvest board members Jeff Dlott and Jason Clay will be featured
plenary speakers at Tufts University's Conference on Ecolabels
and the Greening of the Food Market. The conference, to be
held November 7 – 9, 2002, in Boston, Massachusetts,
will bring together all segments of the food production and
marketing sector to address the many issues involved with
the rapid growth of eco-labels.
Protected Harvest Executive Director, Carolyn Brickey, will
also give a presentation on, “Extending ecolabel standards
to include soil and water quality: the Protected Harvest approach,”
and Deana Sexson of the University of Wisconsin will be presenting
a poster on, “The development of the Healthy Grown brand:
The WWF/WPVGA/UW collaboration story.”
