The
certification process
Protected Harvest Certification is a multi-step process.
Farmers and Handlers applying for certification must complete
questionnaires pertaining to their production and handling
practices, participate in an on-site inspection of his or
her operation and provide access to necessary support documentation.
Applicants pay an administrative fee to Protected Harvest
and cover the cost of site inspection and associated travel
costs. Rates are determined according to location, crop, and
acreage; please inquire.
